Lion of Judah
I want in this piece to represent the position of kingship, the ultimate position of authority. The crown in the mane of the lion is in the form of a menorah that in its self represents the spirit of the Lord in the temple. On the two ends of the crown is a reminder of the crown of thorns. This is to show the king in suffering, and then evolving into the king reigning; authority gained through suffering.
