Sacrifice

This piece is a comparison between the sacrifice of Isaac and the sacrifice of Jesus. The head represents Jesus in death. There are two figures, the first being Isaac in the moustache, the second being Abraham in the hair to the left raising a knife. The ram is shown in the hair being the sacrifice instead of Isaac, as Jesus was being the sacrifice instead of us.
